Sunken Coast Highway

The sunken coast highway,
Cut off from the rest of the world,
Is a desolate and forsaken place.

Only the ghosts of those who have gone before,
And the vultures that follow in their wake,
Survive on this unmarked and lonely road.

The villages that once lined the coastline,
Now lie in ruins and debris,
A result of the terrible crashes and burns.

Only the rats and the vultures remain,
As the sunken highway remains abandoned.
