Land without a name, a poem
In a land with no name, where shadows dare
to trace the edges of forgotten streets,
the air is thick with whispered layers
of memories and iron defeats.
Gothic spires lean like tired sentinels,
etched against a bruised, unyielding sky;
the pavement weeps with unsung carols,
as midnight dares a silent lullaby.
But woven in this tapestry of dusk,
beneath the weight of steel and stone,
a tender glimmer breaks the husk—
a seed of hope, quietly sown.
Yet as the remnants of despair collide,
the horizon shimmers with a promise untamed—
a future left unresolved, mystified.
Beneath the shattered skyline, where lost dreams weave,
new voices echo softly in the corridors of decay;
each sigh of the wind a secret, each shadow a reprieve,
murmuring stories of the night that refuse to fade away.
Through alleys of unspoken lore, echoes stir the air,
whispers of rebellion laced with fragments of forgotten art;
the pulse of the forsaken land beats a fervent, daring dare,
reminding all that even broken realms may harbor a heart.
In the quiet before the storm, a lantern’s spark defies
the relentless siege of gloom, igniting paths yet unexplored;
a silent vow in every glimmer where the future lies,
holding promises of new beginnings as fate itself is scored.
Yet amid these stirring signs, as hope and chaos intertwine,
a question lingers on the lips of night, shrouded in mystery—
will the nameless land awaken to a truth that might redefine
its endless canvas, or be forever lost in spectral history?
I used Midjourney v3 and v4 to create the images for this post. The grittiness of the low grade Ai adds something darker and more appealing for these pieces than the newer versions of Midjourney.
