STEEM boasts Number 2 Spot on Recent CCID Ratings
The cryptocurrency world was thrown into a debate on the recent result of the research conducted by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CCID).
The research conducted measured various existing blockchains into three sub-indices or categories: Technology, Application, and Innovation/Creativity. Ethereum got the first spot having garnered a Total Index of 129.4 points. STEEM got the number 2 spot. The masses' favorite cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, on the other hand, got a mere rank at the 13th spot, a tie with Verge. The results had sparked the debate as to how the research was conducted.
Notably, Bitshares got the 12th spot beating Bitcoin in terms of Basic Technology used.
