We have all been in that situation many times
Kings have found themselves with that urge
Soldiers are not left out of having that urge too
Presidents have been guilty of it many times also
Every winner must have had that urge at one point
We have all at one point nursed the urge to quit
But listen up, keep fighting and don’t quit, please
Someone is depending on you as you are reading this
You are the answer to someone’s prayers, that’s right
It might take you a while to get there, but don’t quit
You might not be twice as fast as others but don’t quite
Let your end justify your means by holding on till the end
Read that book, gain that degree and finish up that book
It doesn’t matter how long it will take you but don’t quit
The best of minds you know once had that urge too, you know?
Resist that urge to quit because someone depends on you
