I noticed you like talking even when uninvited
I seem to see that you always want to talk most times
There is a season for speech and another for silence
It takes the smart ones to understand when to do both
It is better to be thought wise by keeping silent sometimes
Than to erase all doubt and be known as a fool
You don’t have to talk and you don’t have to always speak
If you can’t say it without screaming, then be silent
When you feel you are feeling critical, please, be silent
If your words could damage a friendship, be silent
If you know your words will offend another, be silent
If your words would convey the wrong impression, be silent
If you would be ashamed of your words later on, please, be silent
When you notice you don’t have all the facts, be silent
When you notice the tension and in the heat of anger, please, be silent
Always remember; a meaningful silence is better than meaningless words
When it is your turn or it is time to listen, please, be silent
