Difficult does not always mean impossible

Greetings my Education community, it is been awhile I posted here.

Some teachers call it difficult and
students start believing it. Here is what they both need to hear:

What if those sujects were not termed "difficult" probably some students could have made the effort needed to excel in it.

Someone said to me, "there is no way you can solve that."

I replied that it is "difficult doesn't always mean impossible."

Exactly, what I am instilling in the minds of my young ones. Growing up i was told Maths was too difficult until i met another teacher who made me eager for math classes. O yes, we are still in touch till date.

Some teachers have unknowingly made students feel that a subject is too difficult and almost impossible to conquer. They failed to explain that further and indepth diligent study can mean progress.

In education, we confuse difficult with impossible too often that it can easily repel slow achievers from trying or putting more effort.

A tough topic is not always impossible. It just needs more time and revision practice. Impossible means there is no solution. Difficult means the solution is hidden and waiting for every careful and diligent study.

As teachers and learners, our state of mind decides to persist or parting ways.

Difficult subjects do not define your future grades or career. They are just one piece of the puzzle to complete or stay empty. They build academic strength, stamina and endurance.

Even hard concept opens an avenue for discovery, new methods and new breakthroughs. It can strengthen the student teacher relationship more by interactive group sessions study.

When you stop avoiding or cutting corners around difficult subjects or topics, you actually start learning more and to overcome challenges, even if it means doing it again and alone.

Some students build a defense wall "I am not good at it but I have to pass it to graduate"

The eventual discovery or discussion of the results can be worth the efforts and trouble caused.

It can be difficult and also delightful at the end 👍.
