Welcome to the another round of our Weekly Spotlight, where we shine a big, bright light on the funniest submissions from the community!

This spotlight is our way of celebrating those comedy gems that made us snort, giggle, choke on our coffee, or literally LOL in public (yes, we’ve all been there). Like I said, the spotlight is to showcase the most funny post for the week, it might come from our weekly prompt, or random post in the community, so come make the most funny posts you can.

Some weeks, we might only have one spotlight post. Other weeks, we might have ten! It all depends on how funny the submissions are, not kinda funny or I smiled internally funny, but bust-a-gut, tears-down-your-face funny, Yes that kind of funny gets the spotlight.

It’s not just about hurt feelings—it’s about respect. Respect is earned, and you can’t slap a reshare request on top of years of ignoring someone and expect it to feel right. I’ve seen it happen way too many times, people thinking social media gestures can make up for real-life actions or lack of them. I’ve decided a long time ago that I’m not participating in that. I’m not giving my time or my platform to someone who wouldn’t even show up for me when it counted. And let’s be honest, there is also a little boundary thing. I’ve got my feed, my space, my mental peace. I curate it for me, not to fix other people’s guilt trips. A simple reshare might seem harmless, but it’s not, it’s a tiny handshake that says, “All is forgiven,” and I’m not ready to give that out like candy...
