Poem #4
They were merely fishermen,
Who came from Galilee.
They had a simple way of life,
Living off the sea.
Until one day, a stranger came and said,
"Come follow me."
They left their nets, and shod their feet, and entered history.
These men knew not then, this stranger would use them,
To preach the word, to the world,
That he would die and rise again.
They could not comprehend,
Things told before their time,
That he would die,
On a cross,
For the sins of you and I.
They became mighty men of YAH,
Who came from Messiah's own tree.
They spread the word throughout the world,
To begin what we now see.
