Today’s magic moment could be going to the polls for some, but for the family of Will Byers, it’s remembering the day when he vanished in 1983.. when he had a funeral.. and when subsequently the town of Hawkins Indiana was rocked by the government conspiracy to hide the upside down …

Yes, today is Stranger Things Day. Or as they hashtag on social media–and people are–#StrangerThingsDay..

Nov. 6, 1983 is the day 12-year-old Will Byers (Noah Schnapp), who lives in the fictional Indiana town of Hawkins, went missing in the first episode of Season 1. When a “body” is discovered in a lake, he’s believed to be dead.

Netflix announced today’s 35th anniversary of the fictitious vanish of Byers… they also plan some other reveals on social media. Som speculate that the trailer will be revealed.. that perhaps a release day for season 3 will occur. At the time I write this none of those big shocks have happened. Instead social media circles have been honoring the day with photos of their own honor of Stranger Things.

As I do here.. Socks a blaze with the Christmas lights that Will spoke to his mom on.
