The pier
I went to see the sunrise... but ended up falling in love with a pier.
I left early with the sole mission of capturing that magical moment when the sun kisses the horizon. Coffee in hand, camera ready, the plan was perfect.
But then I saw it.
A deep blue pier that disappeared into the turquoise water as if it wanted to escape the world. The lamps were still on, timid against the light that was beginning to win the battle. The sky changed from pink to gold. The palm trees swayed gently. And that silence... broken only by the calm lapping of the sea.
I stayed there, much longer than planned.
It wasn't just a sunrise.
It was the pier telling me, without words:
"Stay a little longer. Time doesn't rush here."
And I, who am always rushing, for the first time... obeyed.
Has this ever happened to you?
Going for one thing and coming back with your heart stolen by something completely different.
