Birthday Bash from Steemit Manila

Today, I celebrated my birthday! Birthdays are special because life is a gift. I am blessed to have another year in my life.

Because it’s my birthday, my Steemit Manila family gave me an advance birthday bash a few days ago! Special thanks to Ms. @janicehung for this.

It was a night full of fun with my Steemit Manila family.

A few minutes after I arrived, they surprised me with a cake as they sang me a birthday song. Ms. @janicehung reminded me to make a wish before blowing the candle and so I did. It was something I did not expect from them so I’m really grateful for it.

We spent the night by having meaningful and fun conversations, bonding, eating sumptuous food, and having some drinks.

These are some of the food we had:

Bellychon (Pork Belly Roast)

Baked Mussels

Pasta

Pizza

Doughnut

We also had Grilled Fish, Grilled Liempo (Pork Belly), Cake, Ice Cream, etc.

In any celebration, some alcoholic drinks will always be there. Of course, drinking moderately is advisable.

The night was made more memorable because we sang songs— both live (acoustic) and via karaoke. Before the night ended, I’m thankful that Ms. @janicehung granted my request for her to sing my favorite Chinese Songs, Tong Hua and Ni Yao De Ai.

Today, I received these meaningful messages from Ms. @janicehung and @princesslilo. I’m also surprised that @princesslilo created a blog dedicated for my birthday. With these, I feel so blessed and grateful.

Indeed, I had a happy and wonderful birthday! More than the celebration, fun, gifts and greetings, I am thankful for the gift of life, family and friends. Thank you to my Steemit Manila family for the memorable birthday bash and for making me feel the love.
