Hiya, anyone grow fieldbeans instead of broadbeans (for eating, not as a cover crop?).
I'm wanting to plant them in Autumn. Overwintered broad beans shouldn't be planted too early in Autumn due to them getting too tall and therefore susceptible to wind damage. Assume field beans are the same? From people's experience, when do they plant sow them?
This is one of my homegrown tomato plants. It was just an experiment — I poked a hole in the ground, stuck the sucker in, put some straw around it, and watered it daily. I let two vines grow, and over time, this is what it turned into. 🍅
I’m quite happy with how it looks! What do you think of my little tomato experiment?
