ICON (ICX) will support 300 Blockchain-based startups

ICON Foundation (ICX) decided to support 300+ startups based on Blockchain technologies.

ICON (ICX) established a blockchain accelerator "DEBLOCK" to promote the blockchain ecosystem and support 300+ startups.

DEBLOCK is a newly established corporation by the ICON Foundation and AD4th Insight, a blockchain-based digital marketing and advertising company in Korea.

DEBLOCK starts its operation this month and will support 300+ startups in 3 years. This activities include the followings:

• to find out and invest in blockchain projects with great potential
• to provide work offices and ICON's infrastructure
• to co-develop blockchain business models and help startups build marketing strategies

Currently DEBLOCK is recruiting active experts, building a team with great understanding of blockchain technologies. The ICON Foundation announced that DEBLOCK is expected to provide the priming system where various domain experts can enter the field of blockchain.

KyungJun Lee, the chairman of the ICON Foundation said, "I expect to see more and more services develop using ICON's technologies and specialized accelerating services provided by DEBLOCK will help the blockchain ecosystem prosper." HyunSeok Oh, the partner of DEBLOCK announced that DEBLOCK plans to provide not only financial investment but also accelerating services to more than 50 companies this year.
