In the midst of this controversy, conservative author, commentator, and agitator Dinesh D’Souza tweeted a photo of a young Hilary Rodham (later Clinton) in her home, with a Confederate flag visible in the background. Though D’Souza was not the original source of the doctored image, he did later correct his tweet when the truth emerged.
