The newspaper clipping in Helen's hand finally answered the question she had always asked. The reason for her mom not wanting her to be a scientist was clear now.
Her father's death was featured in the old newspaper clipping in her hand which read, "Brilliant scientist exposed to radiation dies."

Everyone likes to think they are special, and I'm no exception, but I truly am. I'm a linguist at heart, a writer of all forms, and a mother every other time.
