Failed HIVE transfer, but good on Simpleswap!
You'd think I wouldn't make these kind of stupid mistakes by now, but I rushed it and forgot.. to include the memo on my last attempted HIVE transfer.
I have done several of these HIVE to DOGE (deposit to my crypto exchange), using SimpleSwap before. First off, I always forget to login as soon as I get to the simpleswap website, which is good since it shows them your email info and history and also keeps track of each transfer for u. But the big mistake I made this time.. DON'T FORGET THE MEMO!! :P
It's funny, cuz previously I put a wrong memo.. my own memo that I made up (something like "hive.date.") That is also a huge NO NO and will result in your funds getting sent to crypto limbo, forever searching for that memo address which only exists in your head. :)
So, from now on I must remember.. DOGE from exchange TO hive.. NO MEMO, but FROM hive (via simpleswap), always put the memo PROVIDED by simpleswap. Let me just add that I wasn't even so worried this time (maybe a little heart action) cuz I knew how cool and helpful simpleswap support is.. they found my funds, I sent them a screenshot showing the entire screen of my hive wallet showing the transaction sent to them, and the funds were sent back to me 2 hours later.
