DKMS를 이용한 A2000UA Ubuntu 드라이버 설치

Ubuntu 16.04 환경에서 무선랜 사용을 위한 A2000UA 드라이버 설치를 진행했다. 드라이버 설치에는 DKMS(Dynamic Kernel Module Support) 기능을 사용해 커널 업데이트 때 드라이버 재설치 문제를 해결하고자 했다.

드라이버 설치는 root 권한으로 실행한다.

sudo su -

dkms 등 컴파일에 필요한 패키지를 먼저 설치한다.

apt install build-essential git dkms

cd /usr/src
git clone https://github.com/abperiasamy/rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux.git
cd cd rtl8812AU_8821AU_linux/
make -f Makefile.dkms install

드라이버 컴파일 완료 후 모듈을 등록한다.

modprobe rtl8812au
