My top food picks from 2021

Here are some of my favourite dishes from 2021, I've named the restaurant if you're ever nearby and want to try them yourself.

1. Foodisiac, Sotogrande Spain - Fried Halloumi and Spicy Cauliflower Salad.
2. Foodisiac, Sotogrande Spain - Salmon Poke Bowl.
3. Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar, Seville Spain- Sushi selection.
4. O Piri-piri, Algarve Portugal - Peri Peri chicken.
5. Olle Korean Barbecue, London England- Korean BBQ hotplate selection of meats and seafood.
6. Hacienda Patagonica, Gibraltar - Skirt steak with baked potato.
7. Nobu, Marbella Spain - Miso Cod with apricot puree.
8. La chacra, La linea Spain - Argentina lomo with chips.
9. The Arabian Tea House, Dubai UAE - Humous and Aubergine dip with hot flat bread.
10. White beach Atlantis, Dubai UAE - Sushi platter.
11. Casa do Pescador, Algarve Portugal - Grilled Sea bass.
12. Cheesecake Factory, Dubai UAE - Buffalo Chicken blasts.

Taking first place was Olle Korean, It was a big highlight from me to try Korean BBQ for the first time, the food was so fresh and we ate so much protein. I remember feeling full but not bloated after that meal.

Taking second place was the Miso cod at Nobu. We ate the signature tasting menu and this was one of 5 dishes. Miso cod usually is special and this did not disappoint but the combo with the apricot was heavenly.

And taking third place was the Peri Peri chicken at O Piri- Piri. Just a small, funny looking restaurant selling the best grilled chicken I've ever tasted. I ended up going to this place 3 times in 5 days for lunch.
