Three years ago, while I was still a college student, our school hosted a competition in celebration of Education Week. The theme was “Education: Learning Resiliency, Innovation and Dedication in the New Normal,” reflecting the challenges and resilience of education during the COVID-19 crisis.

At that time, distance learning had become the norm, and students were encouraged to express their experiences through creative compositions. I decided to participate by writing a song that captured the spirit of perseverance and innovation in education during the pandemic.

The concept came to me naturally, inspired by the struggles and determination of both learners and educators. To bring the song to life, I needed an instrumental arrangement. I reached out to my friend Junah, a talented pianist, who graciously agreed to collaborate with me. Her piano accompaniment added emotional depth and harmony to the piece, enhancing its overall impact.

The final video, titled “Young Educators,” was uploaded to YouTube as part of the competition. It served not only as a creative entry but also as a heartfelt tribute to the commitment of students and teachers navigating the new normal of education.
