DIY Perfect Pearl Cube in 4 Easy Steps
I went back to basics to practice one of my favorite and most versatile beading skills, the pearl cube. This elegant little craft can be used to create stunning earrings, beautiful necklaces, unique keychains, and so much more.
In this post, I'll share with you the process for creating a strong and perfectly formed cube using a straw beads and a pearl bead in 4 easy steps. Once you know how to make this, your creative possibilities are endless!
Materials Needed
- Center Bead: 1 Pearl Bead
- Frame Beads: 12 Straw Beads
- Fishing Line
Let's Get Started in 4 Easy Steps:
Step 1: Thread four of your straw beads onto the fishing line.
Pass the line back through the first bead to form a square shape. Pull it tight.
Step 2: Now, add two straw beads on one side (either left or right) and one on the other.
Pass the thread through the last bead on the sides with two straw beads.
Step 3: Repeat 2 again.
Step 4: Closing the cube, add one straw bead on both sides.
Drop one pearl bead at the centre and pass the thread through the centre bead on the first square.
Pass the line through the beads to bring the threads close to each other, knot tightly to secure the shape.
You've Made Your First Cube!
