Hello everyone! This is Hive Open Mic week 132 and I'm really excited to be participating. We've been provided with an interesting theme once again for this week which is "Woman Life Freedom" and in line with it, I'll be performing a cover of the song "Scars To Your Beautiful" by a very talented and inspiring artist, Alessia Cara.

"Scars To Your Beautiful" is a song that remindes women that beauty isn't only one look, shape, size, or color but beauty comes in all forms.

It's indeed sad that in the world we find ourselves today, women are forced to live up to a culturally propped stereotype. They have become conditioned to believing in unrealistic standards of beauty and even their acceptance in society is determined by their adherence to it. But what women should be reminded of is that such standards are only just social constructs that are enforced in day to day interactions and are perpetuated by social media.

In this song, Alessia Cara encourages women to break free from society's stereotypes and parameters of beaty and practice self love and acceptance no matter what.

Esta es la semana 132 de Hive Open Mic y estoy muy emocionada de participar. Se nos ha proporcionado otro tema interesante una vez más, que es "Woman Life Freedom" y, en línea con él, interpretaré una versión de la canción "Scars To Your Beautiful" de una artista muy talentosa e inspiradora, Alessia. Cara.
