This is my entry for the Show Me A Shadow - Round 327 contest organized by Hive account@melinda010100 .

I'm submitting photos taken during a visit to a contemporary art exhibition.
I find it very difficult to take photos of works of art; they're meant to be viewed with the human eye, which will focus on the subject or a detail, putting aside the rest of the scenery.
When we take a photo, we realize that there are things in the framing that we'd like to avoid, so we move around, zoom in, and the result isn't always up to scratch.

Here, shadows are part of the work, and the lighting in the room tended to eliminate any other real shadows.

The figures are made of sheet metal, so they're two-dimensional, as are the shadows, and the photos don't really do justice to the work, sorry.

The first one is the best - you'd think the shadow on the top right was real.
I'll show you the next two to give you a better idea of the set-up.

Je propose des photos prises lors de la visite d'une exposition d'art contemporain.
Je trouve qu'il est très difficile de prendre des photos d'œuvres d'art, elles sont faites pour être regardées avec un œil humain qui va se focaliser sur le sujet ou un détail en mettant de côté le reste du décor.
Quand on prend une photo, on réalise qu'il y a des choses dans le cadrage qu'on voudrait éviter, alors on se déplace, on zoome et le résultat n'est pas toujours à la hauteur.

Ici, l'ombre fait partie de l'œuvre, et l'éclairage dans la salle tendait à éliminer toute autre ombre réelle.

Ce sont des personnages en tôle donc en deux dimensions, de même que l'ombre, les photos ne rendent pas vraiment hommage à l'œuvre, désolé.

La première est la plus réussie, on croirait que l'ombre en haut a droite est réelle.
Je montre les deux suivantes pour que vous ayez une meilleure idée du dispositif.
