Trip To La Pineda

The beach of La Pineda, with its golden sands and crystal clear waters, is the epitome of a tropical paradise. As the sun begins to set and the shadows lengthen, the magic really begins. In this post I want to show you the charm of the evening and night photographs of this beautiful coast, capturing the gentle play of light and dark, the reflections of the city lights on the calm sea and the fleeting beauty of these moments.

As day gave way to night, the sky became a canvas streaked with hues of orange and gold. The sun dipped toward the horizon, casting long shadows on the sand and creating a dramatic contrast between light and shadow. I couldn't fail to capture in photos the essence of the calmness of the beach before nightfall. The waves, which until recently had been gentle and playful, now take on a more melancholy movement under the soft light of the sunset. They crashed against the shore with a seductive whisper, leaving a trail of white foam in their wake. These details add a sense of movement and life to photos, making them even more dynamic and captivating.

After dark, the city comes alive with thousands of twinkling lights reflecting off the calm sea. This situation gave me the opportunity to experiment with reflections and refraction of light. The city skyline, illuminated by inscriptions and bright facades, is refracted in the water surface, creating a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes. Images of city lights reflecting on the water give La Pineda Beach an ethereal, almost otherworldly atmosphere. The buildings seem distant and unreachable as their reflections seem to dance on the waves. It evoked in me a sense of admiration and wonder at the beauty of nature mixed with human creation.

Night photos on the beach are filled with romance and intimacy. Light from the moon and stars illuminated the sand, casting long shadows that gave the scene a dreamy and romantic feel. People walking on the beach and sitting on the shore seemed isolated from the outside world, absorbed in the beauty of the moment. In my photographs, I used longer exposures to blur the motion of the waves and recreate a silky effect, adding a sense of calm. The starry sky strikes me as a dramatic backdrop, emphasizing the solitude and silence of the night beach.

The light changes and the scenes are transient, making every shot different. This encounter with nature and night photography was really very pleasant for me. I knew I had limited time to capture the essence of the beach as I was aware of the changes in light and mood of the weather.
