Hello hive besties and photography lovers! I'm Catalina and I'm going to show my high contrast portrait I made to my brother for a college project, the 23th May 2021.

Tenía que decidir entre seguir con las estampitas de intensos contrastes y color o continuar con mi referencia fotografíca, así que tomé la decisión de nuevamente retratar a mi hermano, sin Tarot de por medio, pero con un pequeño guiño a la entrega anterior.

En ambas imágenes en crudo, tenía que hacer dos expresiones distintas respecto a cómo reaccionaría alguien al ser tomado de la mano, así tener una imagen espejo de la misma acción, distinta reacción. Digamos que ambos son, Romulo y Remo. Lo único que mantiene en ambas imágenes es el rosario crudo sostenido con la mano, que al mismo tiempo cierra la "capa" negra.

Ahora en otra perspectiva, considero que se parece a otra portada de Placebo, la banda que usé de referencia, al inicio de la Experiencia Dos.

I had to decide between continuing with the prints of intense contrasts and color or continuing with my photographic reference, so I made the decision to return to my brother again, without Tarot in between, but with a little nod to the previous installment.
In both raw images, I had to make two different expressions about how someone would react to being held by the hand, so I had a mirror image of the same action, different reaction. Let's say they are both Romulus and Remus. The only thing that remains in both images is the crude rosary held in the hand, which at the same time closes the black "cloak".
Now in another perspective, I consider that it looks like another cover of Placebo, the band that I used as a reference, at the beginning of Experience Two.
