Ghost Rider is coming back in the form of a new actor

Apparently Ghost Rider is being resurrected by Marvel and will have a place in their universe. Previously played by Nicolas Cage in two films that were terrible to put it nicely, even he couldn't save the script with his unique style of acting.

Ryan Gosling is being rumored for the role as he's expressed interest in the universe and more specifically Ghost Rider. Norman Reedus from his fame on The Walking Dead has also been rumored. This would be a interesting take and nice to see him in something outside of that long running series.

Audiences didn't care much for the earlier incarnations. I believe if the role is cast correctly with most importantly an interesting script there will be a nice spot waiting for him. The character is too interesting not to be updated and presented anew.

Let's not forget those first two films. They were something.
