Labuan Steemit First Gathering!

A photo frame moment to remember as the first Labuanese steemit gathering took place last night in Mortar Lazenda Hotel on 17th January 2018. The relaxing ambient atmosphere complemented by doodle art on the background really makes the event much more relax and calming.

Entrance to the event location where @diamondray and @wilsonkoh made their presentation. The misses loved it where she can meet old and make new friends at the same time sharing about steemit.

@diamondray comprehensive presentation was very well informative for the newcomers and also the not so new comers. Lots of info on what is cryptocurrencies, how to blog on Steemit, do's and dont's and much more. In this case i should say it is mission accomplish on the objective to share and inform new steemiens. Well done @diamondray for your time and effort to make our first Labuan steemiens gathering a success.

@wilsonkoh giving his unconventional presentation. Introduction to the new comers on how to navigate through the steemit page, How to see others page, when to vote and up-vote. One thing that he did highlight though is when we go to other people's page. There is always a tendency to see their wallet. i guess that's because we cannot do it in real life and when we have the opportunity to do so without asking it is just reflexes on the mouse trigger . That's the second or third thing we see after scrolling down their page.

This steemit platform does not only pay you when you do your blog it also brings together friends and families together on a nice evening.

Lots of curious faces on how to take part and navigate into steemit.

There is one down side though. It is not because of the event but because of handful of the participants are still waiting for their PW after 5 days. Probably that is a sign where this platform traffic is increasing.

The highlight of the night for me is getting to take a good friend around the block just because he doesn't know where the entrance is..heheheheh @wilsonkoh
