A Quick Shopping Run

Hello everyone! It's @casiano123, back again! It's been a while, right? So, payday finally hit, and you know what that means? Grocery shopping spree! Normally, I stick to my usual place because I know the prices, but this time, let's just say it was an experience!

Last Sunday, while thinking about what we could have for dinner, we decided to go to Savemore, which we later realized that it was quite near to our residence. I wasn't aware of it because the building is relatively new, and my husband had been there, he just mentioned that the place was spacious and that there was a grocery store inside.

Upon entering, you'll immediately see the spacious area. There are no vendors yet, and many available spaces are for rent.

We browsed around for a while before deciding and grabbing a cart. We didn't buy much; only the essentials that fit our budget. They had a good selection of groceries there—everything you could need. Our shopping trip was relatively quick because we only bought a few items. You know, grocery prices are shocking these days. A thousand pesos feels like a hundred compared to before. But that's the reality of life now: things are expensive. However, it's easier to make money now if you're skillful and efficient. When I was young, things cost less, but it was much harder to earn money. I once asked my mother, why they couldn't even afford to buy a candy for us even if it only cost a peso back then. She said it was because earning money was so hard. Now, even if snacks cost ten pesos or more, it's easy for mothers to buy it for their children—and I do the same for my child. This is just my observation and experience as a mother. Oh, I got carried away with the drama.

We decided to go home, we just took a ride, even though our place was nearby, because I still had a class, and I didn't want to be late. And that's how the day ended. My sister cooked dinner, and I prepared for my class.
