Stranded - A #fiftywords Story
The shields of the cruiser collapsed and an antimatter missile sliced into the main reactor.
The pilot's helmet darkened as light blazed through his canopy. He briefly stared at the expanding cloud of debris then turned away.
He looked towards his wingman and saluted. They dove into their last dogfight.
An attempt to get back into participating in the #fiftywords challenge. This one implements all the topics I missed: wing, space, and lenses (kinda sorta). Now I just need to think up one for this week :/
