Mature

Weighting my cheese.
Counting the days.
Deciding to stay
or to chase one of these.

Nothing like this
seems wrong to me

but the closer I see
that future unfade
I question my shade,
my hand and my knee.

There is something refreshing about taking one's thoughts, those that get accumulated throughout the day, puring, mixing, baking them, then give away the taste of it, for those who walk by and for your future self.

I started writing this as my entry for the last day of July daily prompt.

What made me do it was a post by Hive account@freewritehouse addressing all writers, encouraging us to write freely. I'm thankful to them.

So wait for more words from me.
