Spelling out my expectations
Yes, my response to @samhangout, it's better late than never.
I had been so busy earlier, I mean my church had a praise night and we've been up and doing to make sure the even is a success.
Thank God, it ended in praise today.
So about the question, is there anything I had wanted to tell my parents but the boldness wasn't there.
Yes, they are lot's of it.
Growing up as a child, I had always wanted my dad to love me loud.
Same thing with my mum, I expected my dad to love us loud not silent.
My dad was a silent lover, I mean this man could literally provide most of the things you need, but that words of affirmation was not just there.
I had always looked for a way to tell my dad, that I expect to be in family where the father's love is loud.
This silent continued until I was done with high school. And as each day passes i had always looked for a perfect way and time to tell my dad this. But all to no avail.
I think my dad can now listen to me now that I'm done with uni.
Even though he's improving, I'll tell him how I want my mum, my siblings and I to be loved.
Peace!!
