Fun with rc cars

I had an old rc truck, and I wanted to know how it worked so I took it apart. I started to gain a better understanding of things, but during the demolition phase I accidentally tore open one of the two motors inside of the truck, so I fixed the motor by using simple hand tools and some twist ties. Right now I have the base unit turned on, because I want to see how long the batteries can just sit there while being left in the 'on position'

in the future I think that it would be fun to use one of the motors to turn the head of a scarecrow. Also I think that it would be useful to be able to place a security camera inside of the scare crow and I could see what the scare crow sees!
