My Birthday Weekend Beach Party

It was my 43rd Birthday this past weekend and I did everything within my power to pretend I was 20 years old again on the beach! God I love the Beach ~ It's the best Bar in town. I started out having some adult beverages and I took my time to drink them. I walked around greeting all of my friends one by one and thanked everyone for the birthday wishes.


I bought everyone a round and ordered up some Tuna ceviche.

I have found as I get older that my birthday party's are more special. More meaningful. Most people told me when I was a kid that they didn't really care so much for their birthdays. It was just another day to them. Not for me! I cherish my birthdays as I get older. The natives on the island I live on really taught me to enjoy life.

They also taught me to sing Karaoke! You couldn't have paid me to sing Karaoke back in the day. I'd always just listen to the radio but now, after a couple of adult beverages, I run for the microphone to sing the songs I loved to listen to when I was a teenager.

I ran into these cool cats with a crazy hat on my way to grab another drink and they invited me to their table for a few drinks.

It's a healthy reminder. An old man once told me the key to happiness with a woman, is to always keep them laughing.

It was a great birthday party on the beach. The night ended well and I very responsibly walked 2 miles down the beach back to my beach condo safely. I woke up Sunday morning and started the party all over again. Thanks for reading and you all have a great week! Capt. Wild Bill
