After 1 year on Steem I'm excited to have gained 500 followers.

Steem has been an interesting ride and while I see some room for improvement I am happy to see so many people switching over from the existing silos to more decentralized options like Steem.

In the beginning most posts here were very niche specific, mostly about crypto. Now we are seeing a much broader spectrum of content on the platform.

In my year here I have found many interesting folks and learned a lot about crypto and decentralization technology.

I'm been hodling Steem and am glad that I did.
I became a Steem witness last spring but will need many more votes before I can start handling blocks.
