... was super nervous because opals are super soft and I have already chipped one recently and I didn't want to wreck another. I went very slowly and kept the stone covered in tape through most of the fabrication process. Voila! Bold, pretty opal ring!
How do you feel about opals? They're so flashy and pretty I do love them but I prefer stones like garnets and sapphires myself.
