COUNTDOWN TO HIVEFEST

Why does saying something out loud or publicly aid in accomplishing that said thing?
No Se? Solo es así!
Maybe it doesn’t matter. Maybe what matters is the power in the realization,if leveraged correctly.
A friend and I often get together on a Saturday or Sunday and speak out loud our stretches. We refer to them as life stretches, as they are small goals that we seek for our existence. Sometimes it’s short term stretches, sometimes longer term. The key is saying it out loud to each other. Sometimes we even question each other for clarity or to aid in refining the life stretch.
The simpler the better.
I will run 4 times a week for a minimum 4 miles for 4 weeks.
Or I will not smoke weed for 2 weeks starting tomorrow.
Or maybe, i will notice and say a minimum of 1 nice thing to my wife every day for 1 week.
It doesn’t really matter what the life Stretch is, as long as it’s meaningful to you in your existence at that moment.

So what does this all have to do with #hivefest ??

Well, i would like to outright state in front of any Hive readers, who ever you may be that has stumbled into the Butt’s blog….… my current life stretch said out loud here on the blockchain is…..

I will make a post everyday from now until the Hivefest.
By my count that should mean 29 posts.
So to get specific with my Stretch.
I will post 29 posts on Hive before im wearing my Hivefest entry round the neck badge.

Goals i have for my hivefest journey are.
Learn first hand the tools that best facilitate a fun and easy journey on Hive. I’m interested in hearing directly from enthusiastic Hivians as to their favorite hive tools and tricks.
At other hivefests I definitely did not manage to talk to each person there.
I have a goal to have at least 1 small engagement with every one that comes to Rosarita.
I want to hear any presentation dealing with Hive retention, point of entry for hive communities, initial user experience discussions. As well as hearing and sharing first hand experiences good or bad on the Hive journeys of those who come to Hivefest.
I hope to meet Hive video makers and podcasters, as these are things i like and do here on Hive.

Im really pumped to be on this #roadtohivefest ..pumped to be experiencing another hivefest, and look forward to sharing space with all who choose to attend. I come to enJoy the Joy with you all!
