Hello friends of Black and White, I’m sharing these images of the luxurious mansion on 5th Avenue in Miramar, Havana. The famous "Casa de Tejas Verdes" (Green Tile House) has fortunately been restored and truly looks imposing and marvelous. This mansion was built as a residence in 1926 and is now a center where architecture projects are carried out.

The elements that distinguish it are undoubtedly the green sloping roofs and its multiple compartments and rooms that make up the property.

In addition to its beauty, it is also famous because, in the past, when its last owner, Mrs. Luisa Catalina, still lived there, it was associated, according to popular legend, with the presence of spirits or ghosts. It is said that she never wanted to leave the mansion to allow its restoration because she knew about the location of a hidden treasure.

Hola amigos de Black and White, les comparto estas imágenes de la lujosa mansión de 5ta Avenida en Miramar, La Habana. La famosa "Casa de Tejas Verdes", por suerte, ha sido restaurada y lo cierto es que luce imponente, maravillosa. Esta mansión fue construida como vivienda en el año 1926, y hoy es un centro donde se llevan a cabo proyectos de arquitectura.

Los elementos que la distinguen son sin dudas los techos pendientes de color verde, y sus múltiples compartimentos y habitaciones que la componen.

Además de su belleza, también es famosa porque antiguamente cuando aún la habitaba su última propietaria, la Sra. Luisa Catalina, se relacionaba según la leyenda popular, con presencia de espíritus o fantasmas y se dice que ella nunca quiso salir de la mansión para que fuera restaurada porque conocía de la ubicación de un tesoro.
