Secession Will It Work?

OK, now imagine Washington (the state) Secedes from The US.

What are the ramifications of this?
Seattle has most of the population, so in a popular vote, the left would win the vote. But, in something so monumentally life changing, would the right just go along with it and accept it?

If by divine humor, the left side of the state is mostly left, and the right side of the state is mostly right.

Actually, it is the city folk on the left, and the farmers on the other side of the Cascade Mountains And they do not get along. The farmers are already pissed that Seattle just passes whatever laws onto them that they want.

Now, Seattle is the big sea port, but eastern Washington is the growers, and access to the rest of the food in America.

Lets imagine the Secession order of events.

The left is UPSET at king/emperor Trump having a 4th term

Of course this is pure, unadulterated, uncut TDS, but what isn't, in this media filled circus? But, it is the catalyst in our (imagined) secession plot. The media drums it up. The left is all how dare that clown (+ king + emperor) win an election! "We are going to secede!" And they are able to do so, because the swamp, instead of being drained, is now underwater (literally) and so, Trump has moved the capital of America West. So, The US is kinda in a mess and can't really block Washington from leaving.

(Also, they have help from China, who has already stationed troops nearby to invade help Washington with its "independence".)

So, the state is now free!
And, what will they do with the freedom?

What will the conservatives, trapped behind enemy lines do?

Purge MAGA

This is the scariest thing. The neo-liberals rise up and demand that the conservative-Republican-Nazis be removed from their country! Its not a lets all get along movement, it is a Trump is wrong, and all of his supporters are wrong too. Everyone who doesn't think like them, needs to be purged!

The problem with this is that almost all the farmers are conservatives. But, they are out in the rural fields on the other side of the mountains. So, they will put that one on hold.

But, those MAGA, flag waving, Nazis in the city! The ones who are usually police, plumbers, electricians, construction workers. You know the group that protects and fixes things. Very important people if you want to continue living in a city with running water and electricity. But the WOKE have never been ones to let facts get in the way. And they push to get rid of those creatures!

So, what do conservatives do? Will they, like most of the Silicon Valley firms, hide? Never admit they are conservatives? Or may actually like what Trump is doing? Just do their jobs, keep their heads down, and hope to never be found out…

Or, will the plumber who has no family ties, move east? Idaho is a nice state. And their services are welcome anywhere.

Will the neo-liberals figure out that is close to suicide to get rid of the conservatives in the city before it is too late? Or will they shout, "defund the police" right to the very end?

Of course, the CCP will ride in to save them…

The biggest, scariest event!

Negotiations. The WOKE want MAGA gone and to have nothing to do with them. However, they will need to negotiate for need things. Which is just about everything, because nothing is really manufactured, mined, or grown in Seattle.

They will want to close the border to the east. But they need food from America. Will they cave to their grumbling bellies? Or maybe they will import food from Canada that was purchase from the corn belt? Or, since they have a great big port, maybe they will import food from all over the world. (all over the world balancing that with American food imports)

What about people wanting to fly? Will flights into, or across all those "fly over states" be banned? What if some good WOKEian, wants to visit their WOKEian friend in New York? Will they allow aircraft to fly over their nation. Will they think it safe to fly over, those "fly over states"?

What about fuel? Will the let coal from America in? Maybe they can make a deal with Canada for all the crude oil? That oil pipeline that they fought so hard against would be really helpful.

The thing is that Seattle needs to stay connected to many other places, or the city becomes irrelevant. Every tie they cut only hurts them. So, their best play is to allow free flow of goods and people through Washington. But, what WOKEian wants rational?

There is a good chance that if "Washington" secedes, that East Washington may join Idaho, or become their own state. But, there may be more at play at that time.

If you are conservative in Seattle, i would serious consider moving. At least have an escape plan. And a years worth of food stockpiled. (although you may have to leave food behind so you can escape. Escaping is important, you can get more food)

I am all for seceding if you cannot come to a mutual understanding. However, i feel the neo-liberals will take things too far. Cutting off their nose to spite their face will just be the first step. This will be just like CHAZ all over again. (but this time, the whole city, meaning, if you have rental property there, try to get out of it before the state seizes it.)

If you are WOKE to your core, then you might want to move to the rainy city. It may be your dream come true. And, if you do, i hope that you will try to stay reasonable and keep trade open. Even it means trading with MAGA members.
