And what you find is excuses made for lying.
AND, most people believe that this is just the way it is

That power corrupts, that absolute power corrupts, absolutely.
But, it doesn't.
What happens is that a pyramid structure is an absolute beacon to those who want power and corruption.

The reason politics doesn't seem to work is evil. We must remove the evil from the system, if we want it to work for us.

We choose to have a "leader", because, from a tribe scale point of view, having a leader is important and reasonable.

However a leader of a country is not something we should have.

Ask yourself: There is a leader of the DMV. Do they make the DMV staff more efficient? It takes hours just to give them money. What business in this world takes hours to take your money? Take away the head of the DMV and it will still do exactly what it has always done.

A leader only works if all the people under him/her can walk away. In a tribe, the power to the leader comes from the tribe's people. If the tribes' people turn their back on him, he is powerless.

But, if you get several tribes under a "warlord", and he develops an enforcer class, then suddenly, the tribe cannot easily leave. The power is, who is stronger, the enforcer class, or the people.

The leader, and all his "people" (enforcers) need to be able to be gotten rid of with a vote. Of course this would be very disruptive to society, but, instead we have created a structure where the leader can be "replaced" but all of the enforcers are still there, following the same script.

The entire pyramid structure, with its entrenched bureaucracy is what is evil.

A leader should only be local, and for less than 100 people. So that the leader will know everyone, and everyone will know the leader. The same with any enforcers. We must never have faceless minions. And there should not be a back room a politician can make deals in.

Govern-cement always gets what it wants.

The purpose of a system is what it does.

Therefor, it does not matter what you do to the people around the system, if you do not change the system, you will continue to ge the same results.

Evil people recognize this, and have gone through great efforts to set up the system to be corrupt, to its core. Even The US's vaunted constitution is corrupt. Only the Bill of Rights is decent.

Study on the differences between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution for The United States of America and many have come to the conclusion that they are polar opposites.

The biggest lie is that the govern-cement is incompetent. How else would they go against the will of the people EVERY TIME?

The reality is that the govern-cement is against the people. Designed and built that way.

A new system has to be created. Something like one that requires cooperation or it stops working. Good people will cooperate to achieve a good outcome. Evil people will not cooperate, well not for long.

Evil Does Exist

The biggest lie devil tells is "Evil doesn't exist".

And, today, "college educated" "philosophers" go around spouting it. "It's just a matter of perspective", they say.

Well, evil does exist, and there are people who do evil.

Psychopaths/Sociopaths/Narcissists will always contribute to evil. Their lowest level systems are to get more power, acquire more control.

In other words, the ones who want absolute power, because they are already absolutely corrupt.

They know they do wrong. They know they do evil. And that is why they want absolute power, so that they can tell you to ignore what they are doing. Failing that, tell you to go away.

When we start choosing leaders based on compassion, we will start to see a change in the outcomes of politics.

The narcissist does not comprehend compassion. They do not empathize with other's feelings. So, a narcissist can only try to mimic compassion. And, it will not be long before they are caught out.

Compassionate people are also hard to corrupt or bribe. Getting them to do bad things go against their innermost nature.

So, let us get compassionate people into the tops of pyramids, and then watch the whole things be recreated into something that serves humanity.

Right now we have spineless politicians being controlled by evil people inside evil structures.

As a for instance, everyone knows about MK-Ultra. So, why isn't the Cocain Import Agency shut down? Completely abolished? If they can do that, then the whole barrel has rotted, and must be gotten rid of. Barrel and all. Instead, they just changed names of the program and continued like nothing happened.

We cannot change politics by arguing inside the old system.

We must build anew.
We must recognize evil and call it out.
We must not do what evil bids us to do. Do not be the Nazi guard who says, "I was just following orders".
