Creativity Anyone?
This is the greatest photo-find from my early 20's up in Vancouver BC! Finding old photos from a past life is really fun. I'm glad I've kept all my photo discs, negatives, and camera cards. Here's a shot from the most creative indoor skatepark I've ever seen. I shot these photos circa 2006 or so at Antisocial Skateshop on Main Street in Vancouver. Friends built out the shops back space into this insane park as a temporary installation before they got "Leeside" - a then unsanctioned skate spot under a bridge on the East Side. So many old friends and Canadian West Coast SHREDDERS, skatepark builders, and skate photographers are present in these photos!!! The night and the install were also dedicated to our friends Rachel Davis and Lee Matasi - both of whom passed away to soon, and were of great influence to the Vancouver Skate Scene.
Rest In Peace Rachel Davis and Lee Matasi!
