Arminius
Sweeter than the chains of slavery is the glinting steel of a hopeless battle
With swords thirsty and rivulets blood hungry
Men, who shrouded in the darkness of this time, yearn only for the valorous light of a pyre
Wading grim away from the warmth of hearth and home
They smile as they meet Valhalla alone
Let us wed ourselves to Valkyries and forget the comfort of our wives
As we end Roman lives
Tyranny forever will avert its eyes
From the spear-lands' dreary skies
