🚀 Introducing Contractless

Contractless is a new blockchain built from the ground up to explore a different path for proof-of-work.

Bitcoin proved decentralized digital money was possible, but over time proof-of-work has become heavily shaped by specialized hardware, mining concentration, and limited everyday spendability.

Contractless was created to revisit the original idea of spendable digital money with a new design approach: Fair Proof of Work.

⚙️ What makes Contractless different?

✅ Hardware fairness Mining is intentionally bounded so ordinary computers can participate without specialized mining hardware.

✅ Distribution fairness Miners must prove real participation before earning block rewards.

✅ Spendability first Contractless targets fast block times and practical wallet use.

✅ Native transaction types Transfers, tokens, NFTs/RWAs, loans, swaps, marketing records, vanity addresses, burns, and more are built directly into the chain.

✅ Clear wallet history The wallet can display exactly what happened: rewards, fees, tips, token actions, loans, swaps, NFT activity, and more.

Contractless is not a Bitcoin clone. It is a new experiment in making proof-of-work fairer, more usable, and more transparent.

🧪 Testnet Node Operators Wanted

Contractless is currently in testnet, and we are looking for people interested in helping test the network by running nodes.

Basic requirements:

Windows or Linux Public IP address Open inbound port Self-hosted machine, VPS, or cloud server Ability to keep the node online for testing
