Satelite location renderer project

someone needes to make a firefox widget that when you open a new tab, the homepage displays a 3d globe that shows all the various satelites and draws their orbits over the earth

in real time or close to it, maybe it refreshes every couple seconds

you could set your location and see what is crossing over your head

you could pick what satelites you want, like all of NOAA or starlink for example

there are linux utilities and web pages that do a very crude 2d version of this.

i used one, i forget the name of it, on my raspberry pi a couple years ago
