Life Continues Through the New Year!
I am finding it more difficult to keep up the house behind 3-4 of my grandchildren. I live with my younger son and my 9 year old son full-time. I have practically raised this young man. My almost 6 year old granddaughter by my older son visits one to two weekends a month. My younger son's 11 year old daughter and her 7 year old brother by her mom, are visiting every weekend.
I love each of these children with all my heart. The 11 year old is my first born grandchild. I just have to make them help me around the house more. The grandchildren make my heart smile and sing. 😀
I am facing joint replacement of the first joint of my right thumb (near the wrist) in the next month or so. We tried injections and I am in pain within 3 weeks. So, the 11 year old and 9 year old agreed to wrapping their right hands in scarves and not using them for a day. They wanted to see how it would be for their grandma. I will be without use of my right hand hand for 6-8 weeks.
I guess my son and grandchildren will be folding their own laundry for awhile and the dishwasher will be my bestfriend for a while.
