Tezos Mandala – Unique, Limited NFTs

The Tezos Mandala project is a generative art project hosted fully on the Tezos blockchain. It consists of 1,124 unique mandalas that can be created. After purchasing a mandala “seed”, a unique digital mandalas is created as an NFTs that is stored completely on the blockchain. This makes them truly decentralized, trustless, and ever-lasting.

Mandalas have three different tiers of rarity – Unique, Tezos, and Eye. These rarities determine what the generated art piece will look like. Tezos-rarity pieces will contain the Tezos logo in the middle, Eye-rarity pieces will have a symbol of an eye in the middle, and Unique have a variety of characteristics that make them different from every other generated art piece.

While generating, a Tezos Mandala is given an initial name. The name will consist of randomly generated kind words. Renaming can occur starting after a month of the piece existing, with the time between renamed doubling every time afterwards.

Purchasing a Mandala Seed
Mandala price starts from 5 tez and increases by 5 tez every 100 mandalas until 600 mandalas are sold. As of writing, the price is currently 35 XTZ per piece. The final 5 mandalas to be sold will cost 100 XTZ per mandala. Only 1,124 mandalas will be generated overall.

Buttonists – the team behind the project
The Buttonists are the team behind the Tezos Mandala project. They were the awardees of #TezosDeFiHackathon which took place earlier in 2021. They are currently working towards creating an NFT Marketplace on the Tezos blockchain, named the “NFT Button”. This new project will be an NFT-marketplace where people can trade Tezos Mandalas and any other NFTs on the Tezos blockchain. More information about this project will be released by its developers in the future.
