캘리포니아 주 로스 엔젤레스에 있는 세실 호텔은, 살인, 자살 등 끔찍한 사건이 다발 한 호텔이다.
1980년에는 나이트 스토커의 별명으로 불린 연쇄 살인법 리차드 라미레즈가 묵고있던 일도 있었고, 오스트리아에서 창녀를 노린 연쇄 살인범을 일으킨 잭 안타위거가 숙박 한 일도 있었다고 한다.
