Three Tune Tuesday: Appreciating 90s Boy Bands 😍

The other day, I had a song stuck in my head... A song that I have not heard in awhile, but it was one that defined the era of the 90s... It was the Backstreet Boys! 😄 I was born in the year 1995, a peak time to be introduced to two of the biggest boy bands in the world: Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. Today, I would like to share some of their earliest songs with you!

#1. Larger Than Life - Backstreet Boys

This was the song that I randomly remembered yesterday 😎 I could not, for the life of me, figure out the chorus... "Your love's affecting our reality," "all of your time spent keeps us alive"?! What was this person doing that "made them larger than life?!"
I know understand that it is a song dedicated to the Backstreet Boys fans -- they were thanking them for the love and support! 🥰

#2. It's Gonna Be Me

An absolute banger, and perhaps one of my favorites from NSYNC. "You don't want to lose it again" always confused me -- lose what? Another crappy relationship? Her MIND?! 😅
The music video is also superb; the little dancing NSYNC dolls used to scare the shit out of me. Very uncanny valley! I love watching this woman run around Toys R Us 😄

#3. I Want It That Way

This is my favorite Backstreet Boys song, but also the most confusing. "I never wanna hear you say, 'I want it that way.'" I still have NO idea what "that way" is! 😅 the entire song is about wanting a girl, yet being unsure because of doubts that are there. So what is "THAT WAY"? Some kind of sex position?! 😱
