I Can't Get No Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones
When Mick Jagger said, "Can't you see I'm on a losing streak?" I felt that.
I can't get no satisfaction! I can't seem to catch a break! I try and I try as well, same as Jagger, but regardless of how hard, the end result is always lacking. I feel like I'm running out of endurance to continue this fight...
Did Mick Jagger have an inkling of how much worse the circumstances were still to become? Did he recognize that the "information" on the radio was about to become unimaginable? Did he know how difficult it would be for the intelligent to exist?
I am an island and have been for years, because along with satisfaction, I can't get no understanding. And I think this has been the most disheartening aspect of it all. I have been ostracized and have learned not to rely on much of anything or anyone.
Virtues have been turned into vices, the mind is seen as offensive, and the incompetent moochers prevail as common sense continues to decline...
And this, my dear friend, is why I can't get no satisfaction. Hard work, effort, and dedication are no longer valued as they once were; they are viewed as unnecessary. If you aren't apart of the club, then prepare for your losing streak as well
