The black soldier fly

Hello everyone.. have a nice day to you all.. it's been a good day today since there is no rain and the sun comes up again.. this afternoon, when I went outside again to take pictures of the snake plant's Flowers.. I saw this little guy hiding in one of the snake plant's leaves.. it never flew away even I thought I touched it on its back.. I thought it was dead but when I touched it for the second time, it moved and walked forward but still did not fly, so I decided to take photos., but when I clicked the second shot in my camera it flew away quickly and I don't know where it went because it's too fast when it flies..

I found out that this insect appears to be a black soldiers fly..
The adults are harmless and do not bite or sting.. their larvae are often use for composting organic waste and creating animal feed..
