Foleum Review Part 2

I will elaborate on the design of the mining rigs I have seen being developed by the CEO of the Foleum project to use in the renewable energy datacenter to within my knowledge. I am from a mining background, starting with introduction to the topic as early as 2011 via mining Litecoin on computer cpu's, but not pursuing in the scale of a small business until 14 months ago brought by the very beginning of Ethereum's 2017 market rally. I have been through several renditions of mining rig designs myself, and likewise have appreciation for others approaches to the area wide for interpretations and approaches. Open frame rigs for many entering into the space is usually the go-to option for many, as it was for me. The benefit of this design, is you can build it out of almost any random materials and they enable easy access to all wires and connectors of the computer.

However many involved in mining once they hit a certain point of critical "mass" or size of their farm operation, the main problems of mining at scale (space, heat, and sometimes noise) become apparent. Likely this is where a major chasm occurs for those pursuing mining on their own accord, from more established operations that tend to have more grounds in calling themselves a "business". Crossing this chasm requires usually making the move to establish a dedication area for mining within whatever resources or real estate an individual or business may have available. On top of this, conscious effort needs to be made to design and build based on addressing the "three pillar" issues of hosting large amounts of computational power.
