Christianity is more than just a religion or belief, it goes beyond what we say, how and we dress etc
It is a reflection of our character,feed and not just words.
Yes professing faith in Jesus Christ is good
Going to church every day is good,singing and preaching is good but true Christianity requires both confession and practice
A lot of people profess their faith with their lips, yet their actions may contradict their word
Characters every Christians should exhibit

Love: love seeks good of other more than themselves
Peace: being at peace with yourself,others and God
Longsuffering:This is the tendency to endure difficulties, pains and sorrows
Temperance: Ability to put your emotions on check.

In conclusion,when we exhibit all these fruits,the fruit of the Spirit is the evidence of the Holy Spirit's work in us,hence a we true Christians.
